We have Gail Harbers who is a trained MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) Therapist coming to talk to us about Lymphoedema. If you’re concerned about being in close contact with others, we can confirm that the rooms in Christ Church are large so we will be able to spread out.
About Gail – Gail is a fully qualified Vodder MLD therapist and runs her TLC (The Lymph Connection) Clinic in Lychpit, Basingstoke. The majority of her clients have lymphoedemas, while others have a variety of ailments which includes vascular odemas, sinus and digestive problems, poor immune systems, fibromyalgia and other stressed related conditions.
Gail volunteers at the cancer charity in Basingstoke, The Pink Place and at the Fountain Centre within the St. Luke’s cancer unit at the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford. She recently qualified in MFR (Mayofacial Release), Kinesiology taping and also the Pink Ribbon Pilates based exercise programe for those who have had breast cancer surgery. She is a member of MLD UK, LSN (Lymphoedema Support Network) and the BLS (British Lymphology Society).
