We are pleased to welcome Leita Sanger who is a local Counsellor, seeing clients for Wessex Cancer Support and also working privately. She’s going to talk to us about the benefits of “talking therapies” – if, how and when they can help us – as sometimes we don’t always know that we need help and support.

Could you let us know if you’re coming along so we know how many chairs to put out please and don’t forget that we have a Whatsapp group which you can also join if you’d like to chat more or ask questions of the other members; just email us your mobile number and we’ll add you to the Whatsapp group. If you’re in the Whatsapp group already, you can let us know in there, if you’re coming along. 

This support group is open to anyone affected by cancer (doesn’t matter what type of cancer). Run by survivors for survivors, this group aims to offer a safe environment for those affected by cancer to get together over a cup of tea/ coffee and chat! Our About Us page gives more information on the group.

Venue: Wessex Cancer Support Centre, 91-95 Winchester Road, Chandler’s Ford, Eastleigh, Hants. SO53 2GG (Above Domino’s Pizza) with a free car park at the rear. 

Please note: We have to lock the outside door at 7.30pm so if you arrive after this time, just press the buzzer to the left of the door, or ring / text 07786 647792 and we can come and let you in.
